I can't do this i have to pay for whatever i use,i am not that type of a man will reap from someone's sweat i don't do that,by suggesting this, that means you are not ready to help me,why should i run to the airport without having my ticket on my hand? Guess who's getting married?!! - A message from Carlos!

Oh the joys!! Carlos has agreed to marry me! I do wonder if he knows what he is getting himself into here. He's finally agreed to allow me to pay his hotel bill. One problem, a quick google search doesn't bring up any results for said hotel and he didn't provide me with an address for it either. For a relatively clever scammer, he doesn't always thinks things through properly!

How are you are today hope you are doing fine? I left England last night and i got to Dakar this morning, it was a long journey i have not travel a long journey in a over a year now. but it was fun we had a stop over in Madrid for an hour before we proceed to Dakar it was about 3hour 40minutes. they have a nice airport first time in Africa.i have been in my hotel room relaxing all day. and i will be  going tomorrow to the ministry of interior to get every necessary document that will enable me work as a contractor in the country.

I am very careful here babe because i did heard so many bad things happening here,i will not be going out much just from the hotel to the place where i have to get the documents,i am very much aware that i will have to pay some money to get the document so whatever i am paying i must demand for the receipt as a proof. I left my daughter with my friend's mother so she is very much safe,i will only spend 7 days to get all the necessary papers one i am done with it i will fly back home so that we can meet some spend some quality time together,the contract will last for 6 months if there is no delay of any materials within the period of that 6 months i will always off and on in England to check on my daughter,i have really miss you babe and i can't wait to hear your voice i have a number here i bought that at the airport you can reach me with that and also send me sms kiss you babe,here is my number +22*********0. but i came here with my cell phone so you can also reach me on my England number which i sent you,i have credit on it so i can receive until the credit is off,have a wonderful night, love you babe and hope to read from you soon.

A reply to Carlos - Do be careful out there!

Well Carlos should be in Africa now, sorting out the paperwork for his contract. I do wonder how long it will be before he gets robbed, kidnapped or requires extra money to sort out his paperwork? He does seem to have forgotten about his poor daughter in all this too!!

I am not sure when you will get this as by now you will be in Sengal. Congratulations on winning the contract!!

Sengal is such a long way away Carlos. How will we ever get to meet with such distance between us? Do you know how long your contract is? Weeks, months? And your poor daughter! How will she cope without her daddy for such a long time? Who is looking after her whilst you are away? I remember you telling me that her poor mother was dead as were your parents. I do hope you have someone trustworthy to look after her.

I do hope you take care out there Carlos. A strange country where you know no one and don't speak the language. You hear alsorts of awful tales of people getting robbed and kidnapped and of others trying to extort money from unsuspecting visitors. Even the officials are often corrupt and will try and extort money saying  people have to pay for 'paperwork and licenses' etc.

Please do be careful Carlos. I shall not be able to settle until I know you are back on home turf and safe again. I was going to call you but as you are abroad I will wait until you get back or it will cost a fortune!!
